How to Get Beautiful Bikini-Ready Glowing Skin

It’s summertime and we all know what that means: beach days and laying by the pool. Are you worried about slipping into your bathing suit? I want to make sure that we all look our best, which is why I am sharing how to get bikini ready skin. Get ready for beautiful and glowing skin this summer! Whatever fun activities you’re doing by the lake, river, pool, hot tub, ocean, or kiddie pool, these tips will ensure your skin shimmers in the sun!

Use an Exfoliating Wash

While we’ve all faced acne at some point, putting on a bathing suit exposes even more skin. If you have pimples or blackheads on your face, chest, arms, or back it can be embarrassing to wear a bikini.

Although we tend to think of pimples on our face, it’s possible to develop acne anywhere you have hair follicles and sebaceous glands. Acne is caused when pores get clogged with dead skin, bacteria, dirt, and oil. This build-up causes acne that can be painful and unsightly. It’s important to exfoliate regularly to clear pores of build-up, clear up existing acne, and prevent future breakouts. 

The best body wash exfoliates the skin gently without harsh chemicals. If a body wash is too abrasive, it can cause damage to your skin. If it is too drying, it may remove too much oil and leave you with flaky, tight skin.  While too much oil can clog pores and cause acne, too dry skin can also cause breakouts.
